You have to admit that some time during your life, you must have thought that dumpster diving was for the poor, downtrodden, and desperate.  Then you see videos like this and you change your mind.  This is an excellent way to improve your lifestyle and be green.

Dumpster Diving Pick - Entertainment Center

We just picked up this black plywood entertainment center from the local dump.  The front is missing a glass door and one shelf is missing some dowels, but it is clean and sturdy.  With some Clorox wipes, it was clean enough to bring in the house without any concerns.  And the best part was that it is totally FREE!.  With lots of people upgrading to flat screen televisions this year, keep an eye out for furniture like this.  You can use this type of piece as an end table in a rec room, extra storage in a playroom, or like its intended purpose as an entertainment center.
