What is a stockpile?  A stockpile is defined as a large accumulated stock of goods or materials. These items may be held in reserve for use at a time of shortage or other emergency.  In the case of extreme couponing, a stockpile is used as part of an ordinary lifestyle of accumulation and consumption of food, cleaning products, and household grocery items.
